Hi everyone, this week I re-read the book ‘The Art of Happiness’, which is a series of conversations between the Dalai Lama and an American psychologist dealing with various aspects of the human mind and how to train the mind to be happy. The Dalai Lama is a great inspiration for how to live a life based on positive values despite the most horrific things he and all Tibetans had to go through.
This week’s three things are the three fundamental facts of the Dalai Lama’s belief system. They are very simple and that’s what makes them powerful. Have a good weekend :), Rupert

1. I am a human being.
2. I want to be happy and I don’t want to suffer.
3. Other human beings, like myself, also want to be happy and don’t want to suffer.
